On 5th August 2016 we joined with the National Lobster Hatchery for a unique and unusual experience - releasing baby lobsters to begin life in the ocean. The natural harbour of Port Gaverne is a safe haven, allowing our baby lobsters to safely reach adulthood. We got an up-close and personal look at the hatchlings as they were set free. Learnt about how lobsters grow, played beach games, explored the sea shore, and celebrated our rich coastal heritage!
