Volunteer training...

Training is invaluable. Over the years, our volunteers have been able to access training in a variety or areas - including: marine conservation awareness, Shore Shapers, bird identification, event risk assessment, seaweed pressing and rock pool creatures; coastal plants; seaweed identification; moluscs; and seaweed pressing to mention a few... As volunteers we find these training sessions/days incredibly valuable, not only on a personal level, but because they enable us to pass on this knowledge to those who visit the Marine Centre and attend our events. Below are photos taken at some of our training sessions.

We would love to thank every tutor and all organisations who provide us with training opportunities for their knowledge, time and patience.
